Selena Gomez stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and tried her hand at MAGIC!‘s breakout single “Rude.”

For her live performance, the pop princess channeled her inner reggae singer, honed in on her smooth vocals, and delivered the track with a live band and backup singers.

MAGIC! showed their support by taking to Twitter to endorse the cover and applaud the singer for her beautiful rendition. “Love @selenagomez version of rude on @BBCR1,” they tweeted.

Selena is currently promoting her new album Revival, out on October 9. The record, her first with Interscope Records, features her current singles “Good for You” and “Same Old Love.”
